Here at AcmeBarGig we love our artists. They create works of awesome with our products and we give them free stuff. We like that arrangement.
We're always open to requests from artists who would like an endorsement deal from us. There are, however, a few simple conditions:
Kind of obvious, but we feel that you should like the stuff we make. Just as we don't want to endorse a musician whose music we don't feel anything from, we wouldn't expect a musician to put their name to our products unless it's brought them some enjoyment or inspiration. We don't mind if it's not used in a professional or commercial recording and we're not asking you to throw your amps out the window—we just want the artists we endorse to actually dig our stuff.
Simple enough, we're an eclectic bunch so don't worry about the genre or instruments you play, if you're creating good stuff with our plugins it won't go unnoticed. We want to get excited by our artists' music, not their album sales or their marketing budget.
We're not going to lie, we like sound clips that show off the great tones we know our products are capable of. To be featured and endorsed we'll need a track that we can use on our site that uses at least one of our products in the mix.
We love tone. We want to endorse artists who strive for quality mixes and quality recordings. We're looking for artists who are able to get great tone from our products. It makes us feel all warm and fuzzy and it shows off what our stuff can do.
This one's optional, we might ask you for a interview for our site. You don't have to agree to this at all if you don't want to, but we like to give our site visitors a good look into our artists and their process. If you've got something you don't mind sharing that could be a fun and informative read then we'd love to shoot the shit with you.
If all of the above sounds good to you then head on over and fill out our Request for Endorsement form. We've tried to make it a painless process.
